TERMS & CONDITIONS

By enrolling in lessons at Sing with Indi - Yarra Valley Vocal Coaching, all students, parents and guardians must agree to the Terms and Conditions in this document. 

1.PAYMENT POLICY:

● Lessons can be paid for by term (at a discounted rate) or casually. Please see the pricing list for current term dates and prices. New enrolments are accepted at any point during a term and need only pay the balance of the current term. 

● Payments are accepted only in any of the following forms:

- Cash (exact amount, in a labeled envelope)

- Direct deposit (banking details attached) 

● All term payments are due by FRIDAY of the first week of each term. If payments are not received in the account by the due date, all classes will be paused until payment is received. Casual or fortnightly lessons must be paid UPFRONTeprior to the lesson. 

● Students and Parents/Guardians agree to pay all fees on the allocated dates and understand that if payments have not been made, the coach has the right not to teach the student until all payments are made and the accounts are cleared. There are NO REFUNDS under any circumstances, and there will be no make-up classes scheduled for students that miss class due to late fee payment. Regardless of if fees are paid late, there will be NO DEDUCTION off the payment plan.

● Please note that lessons will often run as normal on public holidays unless advised otherwise. Students wishing to miss lessons on a public holiday must reschedule the lesson with at least 24hrs notice. Lessons missed during a holiday period without notice will automatically be forfeited. 

2. PRACTICE 

● The student agrees to practice daily and to work diligently to achieve goals set by the coach. Both the coach and student have the option to terminate classes if either party finds progress unsatisfactory.

● If classes are terminated by either party, there will be NO REFUNDS.  

● There are several events throughout the year for students to perform at and participation is highly encouraged - these are all at an additional cost.

3. LESSONS 

● If the coach needs to reschedule a lesson at any time, they may do so - a make-up lesson will be provided for the student at the sole discretion of the coach.

● Parents and friends are not allowed to sit in on the student’s lessons.

● Students are required to attend designated class times assigned by the coach. If a student misses a class WITHOUT 24 HOURS notice prior to their lesson, the full cost of the lesson will be forfeited and there will be NO make up class allocated. 

● Make-up classes are purely dependent on availability of class times and is at the sole discretion of the coach.

● Make up classes will not be carried over to the next payment cycle. If you have a make-up class to complete it needs to be completed within the payment cycle that the class was missed, or during school holidays (dependant on the coaches availability). 

● Parents and friends are not allowed to interrupt while classes are in progress i.e. walking through studio, talking to the coach while class is in progress. Parents wishing to discuss student progress/issues must contact the coach outside of class times.  

4. MISUSE OF TECHNIQUE

● The vocal coach accepts no responsibility for misuse of technique external to studio premises resulting in vocal problems.

5. ACCIDENTS & INJURY

● The vocal coach accepts no responsibility for any accidents or injuries incurred whilst taking classes of any type at Sing with Indi. 

6. VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY/SOCIAL MEDIA

● Video footage/photography of a student’s performance may be taken in class or at events by the coach and will be used and uploaded to the following – https://singwithindi.com or Instagram/Facebook @singwithindi

● If the student or parent does not wish to participate in any video footage/photography, they must notify the coach prior to the commencement of any lessons or events.
